The universe of the British designer and the Fall Winter 2020 collection, the result of an immersion in her aesthetic research

Set in the Torriano Primary School , Martine Rose&#39;s Fall Winter 2020 collection is the exhibition of contemporary English experimentalism. This is also the season in which the designer is nominated at the 2019 Fashion Awards as British Designer of the Year for the Menswear and Urban Luxe category. 
 
Her work is rich in semiological features, a real cut-up among the main inspirations of the young creative. Among the references of the show, the cowboy uniform made of denim and the brown leather belts with a flat metal buckle are taken up. His work at London Fashion Week Menswear includes a capsule collection for the Farah brand made famous in the 70s and 80s by the Jamaican community: &quot;I still remember my uncle wearing the perma-crease hopsack pants, and I wanted to propose them for this capsule collection XXXL version expanding the proportions of the garment &quot; explained Martine. His hints to the post-punk culture that are inserted with the use of elements coming from clubwear, including latex, the mix of prints, the writings on iridescent lurex t-shirts and the use of leather. For shoes made in collaboration with SIX London , Martine offers square toe moccasins, the timeless English penny loafers, cowboy boots and long-boots.
