<p>Fausto Puglisi dedicates the women&#39;s autumn winter 2025 collection to one of his great passions: the archaeological excavations of Pompeii and its treasures of Roman civilization.</p>

<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"><span>&quot; <strong>Pompeii</strong> is an obsession of mine, a world I&#39;ve always wanted to explore. I still remember a trip I took as a child with my parents and I wanted to go back with the style office. From there, a beautiful journey began, the starting point for the <strong>fall winter 2025-26</strong> collection &quot;. This is how <strong>Fausto Puglisi</strong> , creative director of <strong>Roberto Cavalli</strong> , tells us, a talent who has always been volcanic and this time, there is no more appropriate adjective.</span></p>

<div dir="ltr"><div><p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"><span>The show opens with a series of Pompeian reds, but it&#39;s not just a question of color. The devoré velvet, a distinctive feature of the brand, seems almost tormented by the burning lava, but Puglisi&#39;s gaze also falls on the less preserved frescoes of Roman domus, so that red fades into an almost frozen lilac, a surprising reference to Rothko&#39;s canvases.</span></p></div></div>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Then there is the <strong>leopard print</strong> , one of the pillars of Cavalli&#39;s aesthetics, also in dialogue with Pompeian red, while the <strong>python</strong> confronts the ancient mosaics, before leaving room for a series of floating floral outfits: &quot;Because in Pompeii the gardens are magical, wonderful and to render that atmosphere at its best I involved a painter who worked on the light blue dégradés painting them by hand&quot;, adds the designer. And faithful to the thousand experiments of the founder who passed away last spring, Puglisi perfected a print taken from a photo of himself taken during an eruption of Etna: &quot;I wanted to try to imagine what the terrible eruption of <strong>Vesuvius</strong> that destroyed Pompeii must have been like, preserving its traces forever&quot;, concludes the designer.</span></p>
