For <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/uomo/ss-daley-harry-styles-brand-sfilata-chi-e" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Daley</strong></a> , the painterly vocabulary of these artists becomes a lens through which to rethink craftsmanship, fabrics and tailoring. The result is a collection in which the Scottish Colourists’ typical play of light and shadow translates into material juxtapositions: soft, buttery leathers are juxtaposed with stiff, tapestry-like fabrics, creating silhouettes that expand and contrast with a logic of tension and relaxation.</p>

<p data-start="804" data-end="1277" style="text-align: justify;"><strong>SS Daley’s attention to sartorial language</strong> manifests itself in a reinterpretation of the functionality of outerwear. Quilted jackets, in bright shades such as bright orange, are reinterpreted in short cuts and paired with technical fabrics such as clean, dry black nylon. The trench coat, an iconic piece of the maison, undergoes a metamorphosis, becoming a short, structured peplum jacket, subverting classic codes with a new perspective on proportion.</p>

<p data-start="1279" data-end="1993" style="text-align: justify;">Craftsmanship is the leitmotif of the collection, emphasized by minute details and hand finishes. Dresses decorated with hand-painted wooden beads create floral motifs that seem to bloom on the fabric, while leather bags embellished with pearls, brooches and knitted wool hats add an extra level of tactile depth. The felt technique is introduced in pieces for men and women, such as in a completely hand-knitted smock dress that reproduces the image of a woman at rest, inspired by a portrait by John Duncan Fergusson. Here, the color balance is carefully studied: shades of pale orange, deep purple and electric blue blend in a vibrant yet measured palette.</p>
