Stars from around the world attended the amfAR Gala during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival to raise money for AIDS research.

Every year during the <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/beauty/cannes-film-festival-red-carpet-beauty-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cannes Film Festival</a>, celebrities bring their red carpet wardrobe to the annual amfAR Gala, a charity auction and fashion show to raise money for HIV prevention and AIDS research, education, and advocacy. This year, attendees like <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/naomi-campbell-most-iconic-90s-catwalk-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Naomi Campbell</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/cara-delevingnes-yoga-collection-with-puma-sustainable-eco-friendly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cara Delevingne</a>, and more arrived at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France to support amfAR's cause.
This year, the global cryptocurrency platform FTX was the gala and auction's leading sponsor as well as amfAR's official crypto partner. <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-indya-moore-gender-neutral-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Indya Moore</a>, Coco Rocha, Camille Razat, and <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/sag-awards-2022-winners-red-carpet-fashion-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cynthia Erivo</a> were just a few of the FTX table's special guests. During the auction, Moore modeled a one-of-a-kind necklace donated by FTX that raised $125,000.
<a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/man/tom-hanks-and-his-wife-rita-wilson-are-infected-with-coronavirus-in-australia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tom Hanks</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/pop-culture/mothers-day-famous-moms-daughters" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kate Hudson</a>, and Michelle Williams served as Event Chairs for this year's festivities and were responsible for the celebration of the evening's&nbsp;Honored Guest Robert De Niro. Like years past, <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/art/carine-roitfeld-museum-curation-hong-kong-couture-exhibition-winter-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Carine Roitfeld</a> curated the gala's fashion show, while Simon de Pury hosted the charity auction.
