The capsule collection will benefit an institution that supports women entering the job market

Meghan Markle is getting closer to the fashion world. In addition to being one of today&#39;s biggest style icons, the Duchess of Sussex has announced that it is preparing to launch a workwear collection to benefit from its royal sponsorship, Smart Works, a charity that benefits disadvantaged and unemployed women who are entering or returning to the job market.

To this end, Prince Harry&#39;s wife recruited an impressive array of contributors to the project: British department stores Marks &amp; Spencer and John Lewis, the Jigsaw brand, and her friend and designer Misha Nonoo.

The collection will be launched later this year and will be sold &quot;one-for-one&quot;, ie for each item purchased, another is donated.

The duchess became the royal patron of Smart Works in January this year, and since then the organization has grown rapidly. In February, the institution helped 187 women in London, which is almost 50% higher than the same month last year. Considering the well-known &ldquo;Meghan effect&rdquo;, the name given to the phenomenon of a worn out garment after the duchess wears it in public, we can only imagine the impact that her next collection will have on Smart Works.
