Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' create a tactile, touchable world for Fall/Winter 2021.

Following the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/raf-simons-prada-menswear-debut" target="_blank">Fall/Winter 2021 men&#39;s show</a> last month, Prada and its plush, fur-covered rooms are back for the new women&#39;s collection.The <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/prada-spring-2021-campaign-miuccia-prada-raf-simons" target="_blank">Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons</a> co-created lineup features a mix of psychedellic prints, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/style/article/prada-goes-fur-free-2020/index.html" target="_blank">faux fur</a>, and sparkling sequins, honing in on the sartorial sensory experience they began exploring with the men&#39;s collection. Even through the digital presentation&nbsp;the clothes, juxtaposing structure and fluidity, hard and soft, display a tactile quality and beg to be touched.&nbsp;

The outerwear shines&mdash;sometimes literally with full sequined coats, which are just as eye-catching as the faux fur pieces or boldly colored options. As with Prada and Simons&#39; latest menswear collection, layering is key, with bodysuit-like printed pieces&nbsp;adding color and contrast to the modern tailoring styled atop.&nbsp;

Stepping away from the matte, minimalist pieces from <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/prada-milan-raf-simons-collection-fashion-ss21-mfw" target="_blank">Spring/Summer 2021</a>, the new collection feels more extravagant and celebratory. After spending a year getting accustomed to a new normal and its constraints, Prada poses that perhaps those limitations are all in our heads anyways, at least when it comes to fashion. What&#39;s stopping us from making profligate style choices, even if for no one but ourselves?

Like Prada&#39;s past few digital runway shows, the&nbsp;presentation was followed by a discussion led by the co-creative directors. This time, Prada and Simons were joined by architect (and the show&#39;s set designer) Rem Kool Haas, acclaimed director <a href="https://lofficielbaltics.com/en/fashion/prada-teams-up-with-director-lee-daniels-to-bring-billie-holiday-to-life" target="_blank">Lee Daniels</a>, actress <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/hunter-schafer-euphoria-sketchbook-art-2019" target="_blank">Hunter Schafer</a>, designer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/marc-jacobs-madonna-daughter-lourdes-leon-spring-2021" target="_blank">Marc Jacobs</a>, and more, in a conversation moderated by Derek Blasberg.
