The Digital Carpet is the event created by Alexander Lewis and Fiorina Benveniste-Schuler, founder of Selec.to. A digital party in support of the International Federation of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies.

Coachella has been postponed, MET Gala has been postponed and even the fashion weeks have been postponed&nbsp;or digitized. This year the health emergency due to Covid-19 has blocked all kinds of events including the red carpet. Digital Red Carpet, the event created by Alexander Lewis created by C4BOOM and Fiorina Benveniste-Schuler , has renewed the traditional red carpet format to create a global and virtual fundraiser for charity. The digital version of the red carpet took place on May 9th on Instagram, a moment of escape from reality to celebrate the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. A real digitalized red carpet open to all, followed by a party in live streaming with international stars and celebrities who played a fundamental role in supporting the economic crisis due to the coronavirus health emergency. 
 
Amongst the participants, Eugenie Niarchos,&nbsp;Margot Robbie, Elie Saab, Kevin McHale, Jen Atkin, Jason Wu, Tina Leung, Tiffany Hsu, Bryan Yambao, Valentino, Mary Katrantzou, Helena Bordon, Margerita Missoni, Giles Deacon , Jodie Harsh and many others, participated in the red carpet with an Instagram filter created specifically for the digital event.

THE RULES

To participate you had to wear the best gala look, no matter if a look purchased online, fished from the back of your wardrobe or a DIY dress. Once you selected your look, you just had to publish a photo or IG story using our personalized filter available on the official <a href="https://www.instagram.com/thedigitalcarpet/" target="_blank">@thedigitalcarpet</a> account by tagging the account and inserting the hashtag #TheDigitalCarpet, also inviting 3 friends to take part.
