On February 26th, Anthony Vaccarello closed his Saint Laurent Fall / Winter 2019-2020 fashion show with a spectacular fluorescent final where the models shone like neon lights in the dark night. Before him, Marine Serre and Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton had already started the trend.

The tone is set, next season, the cloakroom of fashion girls will fluoresce, if nothing. The proof ? For his last <a href="https://www.lofficiel.be/mode/saint-laurent-automne-hiver-2019-2020-anthony-vaccarello-illumine-paris-avec-un-final-fluorescent" target="_blank">Saint Laurent show</a> , the Belgian Anthony Vaccarello presented a collection mixing fluorescent silhouettes and codes of the French house. At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, on the fountains of Trocadero, the designer reinterpreted and furs maxi, airy feathers, party girl dresses and colorful pumps in fluorescent version. The models were invited to walk in a corridor of mirrors lit neon LED lamps, highlighting the reflective side creations imagined by the designer. Hailed by critics, he was not the first to impose this resolutely futuristic silhouette on the podium.

Before him, Marine Serre , the rising star of the French fashion graduated from La Cambre, presented a few hours earlier a post-apocalyptic parade where the fluorescent had also seized the podium. As for Virgil Abloh , artistic director of the Louis Vuitton men&#39;s collections, he presented last January <a href="https://www.lofficiel.be/fashion-week/louis-vuitton-le-dernier-sac-imagine-par-virgil-abloh-fait-deja-le-buzz" target="_blank">the most desirable bag of the season</a> during his fall-winter 2019-2020 show. The designer was thus parading his silhouettes in the dim light, hand-held Keepall travel bag, where the LVs appeared like fluorescent rainbow neon lights. Quickly, this it-bag became the star of social networks. It was enough to ensure that the fluorescent would be the star trend of next winter.
