Fans are freaking out over rumors that the Grammy winner appears in a special post-credit scene.

Well, no one saw this coming. According to early reports from the premiere of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/agatha-harkness-kathryn-hahn-wandavision-spin-off-disney-plus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marvel</a>'s latest superhero film <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/behind-the-scenes-marvels-eternals-angelina-jolie-superhero-movie" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eternals</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/gucci-beauty/harry-styles-fashion-photos-gucci-fine-line" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harry Styles</a> makes a significant cameo in a post-credit scene as Starfox a.k.a. Eros, Thanos' brother.&nbsp;
The film premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night after being delayed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the official embargo for review on the film doesn't lift until October 24, critics and fans were allowed to spread the good news on social media immediately following the premiere.
One reporter from Variety <a href="https://twitter.com/MattDonnelly/status/1450326280935600130" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweeted</a>, "Big reveal from #TheEternals premiere -- Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos."

While some fans are still skeptical about the claim&mdash;but also praying that it's true&mdash;others have pointed out different signs that point to its veracity.&nbsp;
The film's director <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/women-make-history-2021-oscars-chloe-zhao" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chlo&eacute; Zhao</a> is a proven fan of Styles. For her <a href="https://time.com/collection/time100-next-2021/5937710/chloe-zhao/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Time100 Next</a> shoot, she wore one of the singer's signature merch items&mdash;a "Treat People with Kindness" t-shirt.
In addition, given Eros' specific superpowers, casting Styles in the role would be a sly, tongue-in-cheek reference to his song "Watermelon Sugar," which he <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/harry-styles-watermelon-sugar-meaning-nsfw-female-orgasm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recently admitted was about the "female orgasm."</a> In the Marvel comics, Eros&mdash;modeled off the Greek god of love and sex&mdash;displays abilities of stimulating pleasure. Sound familiar?

While there's no news on whether Marvel has further plans for the character, it should be noted that Eros does play a significant role in the comic series following the death of his brother. However, between touring and his other acting commitments, only time will tell if Styles will be adding Avenger to his growing resum&eacute;.

See the film in theaters on November 5.
