Dom Pérignon Rosé 2006
The exclusivity of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2006 is the perfect gift for Valentine's Day 2021 . Its pink reflections flicker in the cup, showing a fine and persistent perlage, of an innate elegance. Its bouquet is mature and deep, expressive of majestic fruity notes. On the nose, candied orange, caramelized fig and apricot give way to interesting smoky accents, while the palate is caressed by a silky, succulent texture, balanced between soft and crunchy.
Rare Rosé Millésime 2008
The grace and precision of Rare are expressed in his Rosé Millésime 2008 , from the color of the antique rose petals and coppery reflections, which enclose all the richness, the facets and the expressiveness of this assembly. The nose is dominated by a bouquet of spring flowers, enriched with notes of mandarin, lychee and verbena. On the palate it is mineral velvet, with a delicate beginning of black fruits that culminates with intense aromas of star anise and violet. To be paired with a shellfish risotto for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner.
Krug Grande Cuvée 168ème Édition
February 14 is the right date to indulge in a toast with Krug Grande Cuvée 168ème Édition . Born from the 2012 harvest and from the assembly of 198 wines selected from 11 different vintages, it is aged in the cellars of the Maison for 7 years. With a lively perlage, it shows its precious golden color and releases aromas of flowers, citrus fruits and marzipan. The palate is rich, with pleasant spicy flashes and hints of walnut and hazelnut. For Valentine's Day 2021 , it is combined with an exclusive box with the exceptional delivery menu signed by Enrico Bartolini , 3 Michelin stars at Mudec in Milan.
Bruno Paillard Blanc De Blancs 2012
Strength meets grace in the label of Bruno Paillard's 2012 Blanc De Blancs , created by Japanese artist Takehiko Sugawara . Here the representation of nature is abstracted and assumes a strong emotional charge, the same one contained in the fine and lively perlage of Champagne. Produced exclusively from the first pressing of the Chardonnay Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs, Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger, the nose is fresh, with notes of citrus and grapefruit, followed by aromas of dried fruit and ripe apricot. On the palate it is strong and intense, its fleshy structure envelops the palate with fruity scents, the toasting of cedar wood and a pleasant salinity.
La Grande Dame 2008, Veuve Cliquot
The Valentine's toast with La Grande Dame , Cuvée de Prestige by Maison Veuve Clicquot , is a tribute to the woman who left an indelible mark in the history of Champagne. With its silky texture and luminous golden hues, it has a powerful attack, yet ethereal and delicate at the same time. On the nose you can perceive dried fruit, pears and the toasted notes of hazelnut, while the taste shows decisive aromas of citrus and red fruits that are lost in its silky texture. La Grande Dame shows an innate balance, structure and freshness given by the perfect dosage that distinguishes the Cuvée.
