Even though we're only a little over halfway through the year, 2022 has already seen its fair share of celebrity couples calling it quits. While it might seem like some couples are simply meant to be, sometimes things just don't work out as planned.    

L'OFFICIEL breaks down seven celebrity couples who have recently gone their separate ways.

Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks

Recent reports claim The Hunger Games actor and model Gabriella Brooks are no longer together. A source told InTouch that Hemsworth—who was previously married to Miley Cyrus— "didn’t want to be tied down and work has picked up since the pandemic ended.” The two were together for almost three years.

Florence Pugh and Zach Braff

After months of speculation, Florence Pugh finally confirmed her split from actor Zach Braff in her Harper's Bazaar cover story. The duo were together for three years and decided to call it quits earlier this year.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson

The reality star and comedian have gone their separate ways after nine months together. Despite the split, a source told E! News, that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have "a lot of love and respect for each other." The pair were first linked back in October 2021 after Kim Kardashian starred as a guest host on Saturday Night Live. In a memorable skit, the two, dressed as Jasmine and Aladdin, shared a smooch. A few weeks later, the two were spotted holding hands. The rest was history.

Rumors that the supermodel had reportedly split from her husband of four years recently began swirling after she was seen without her wedding ring. Cheating claims involving her husband also began making rounds. A source later confirmed to People that the two had, in fact, gone their separate ways. "They split recently. It was Em's decision. She is doing okay. She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom." The two share a 1-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo Bear.

Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker

Looks like these two have found their way back to each other, despite reports that the model and NBA player had called it quits earlier this month. According to an E! News source, "They worked out their issues and decided they want to move forward and be together."

Some fans might have seen this reconciliation coming, though. Not too long after the breakup, photos of the couple on Page Six, who first started dating in 2020, began circulating. In the photos, the two were seen smiling at one another.

In June, a source told Peoplethat the two had called it quits after dating for more than a year. The source said, "Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken," and "They still love each other." While both the actor and model have shared glimpses of their relationship on social media in the past, there are no longer any photos of the two together on either feed.

The NFL athlete announced that he was engaged back in 2021 during his NFL MVP Award acceptance speech, surprising fans everywhere. While he did not mention the Big Little Lies actress by name, fans began to speculate that the two, who were dating at the time, must have taken the next step in their relationship. A little over a year later though, after already have broken up before, sources told People that the two officially went their separate ways.

After 16 years together, the pair announced in January that they were getting a divorce. A joint  Instagram statement read: "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage." The post continued on, and at the end, was signed "J & L."

Page Six reported that the Grammy-award-winning artist and producer began dating back in July 2021. But even though fans got a few PDA-packed photos, by the beginning of 2022, the two were no more.
