Emily Ratajkowski gets tattooed in protest against Harvey Weinstein
Emily Ratajkowski is outraged and used the red carpet to make a clear protest. Instead of posing for the cameras with her classic poses and sexy looks, the top activist wanted to use the moment to send a stronger message of solidarity to the women in the #MeToo movement.
For the premiere of "Uncut Gems," Emily crossed the red carpet beside her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, revealing a temporary tattoo on the left arm that said "Fuck Harvey."
Ratajkowski's protest came hours after the New York Times revealed that former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein reached a provisional $ 25 million deal with more than 30 women who accused him of sexual misconduct and aggression. Weinstein continues to deny all allegations of unconsensual sex.
According to reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey - who broke the news of what is now widely known as the 'Harvey Weinstein scandal', the deal 'would end almost every case against him [Weinstein] and his former company.'
Emily's action came the same day Weinstein appeared in a New York court for a bail hearing. He is due to be tried in January on charges of sexual assault.
