They started as a X Factor girl band back in 2011, a perfect Simon Cowell&#39; product. After winning the game, their career took off and in a short amount of time, their first big single Wings was everywhere. The Little Mix (formed by Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson) have always been all about girl power, self-love and confidence showing the world that being a strong independent woman was a matter to celebrated and not to be ashamed of it. Sadly today the band lost one of her member Jesy Nelson leaving the group due to a mental health illness. The remaining three girls assured their fans that Little Mix will continue to create music and to make everyone dance on their pop songs. But we can&#39;t avoid a tear.

After an amazing 9 years together Jesy has made the decision to leave Little Mix. This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy. We love her very much and agree that it is so important that she does what is right for her mental health and well-being. We are still very much enjoying our Little Mix journey and the 3 of us are not ready for it to be over. We know that Jesy leaving the group is going to be really upsetting news for our fans. We love you guys so much and are so grateful for your loyalty and continued support of all of us. We’re looking forward to seeing so many of you on tour. Jesy Nelson posted a message on her Instagram in which she stated that even if her love for the group and the girls would be everlasting, her health was a priorit in this time of her life. Making sure to clarify that there was ni bad blood between the memeber, Jesy said the final goodbye to her Little Mix days and to her fans. Just last month the girl announced that she would have taken some time off from the band (in fact in the last LM&#39; performances, Jesy was nowhere to be found) leaving the other three promoting their last album Confetti without her. The missing spot was immediately noticed by the fans and the singer took social media to explain that due to health reason, she was better at home. Nelson never hided her struggle with personal problems: last year she participated in the BBC documentary &quot;Odd One Out&quot; in which she talked about her experiences with depression, eating disorder and a suicide attempt after receiving abuse and insults on her appearance and bullying about tabloids and on social media. We send Jesy our best wishes hoping that the next chapther of her life (perhaps a solo careeer?) would give her the peace she needs. And to the girls, we can&#39;t wait to see what&#39;s next
