That&#39;s what happened to a couple of Canadians during a walk on their first day of the year.

<p style="text-align:justify">As you all know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to spend their late 2019 and early 2020 relaxing away from the limelight in Canada, where Meghan&#39;s mother currently lives and she lived for a while while recording Suits.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">During their stay, they were sometimes seen jogging or just walking around the city enjoying themselves. But to start the new year, the couple decided to go climbing in the Canadian mountains and ended up surprising a couple of locals who were doing the same program on the date.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">They both told Canadian TV and People magazine that they were most startled when they suddenly found themselves helped by Meghan Markle to take a picture of their moment alone. That&#39;s right, according to Asymina Kantorowicz, 29, that&#39;s what happened: &ldquo;We&#39;ve been doing this new year&#39;s climb for the last two years. This time we had a picnic and when we were finishing we were trying to take some selfies with the beautiful scenery behind us when a woman approached us and asked if we would like her to take the picture. &rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Kantorowicz was with her boyfriend, Iliya Pavlovic, and said that before that happened they had already noticed a group nearby, but at first they had not realized who the people were. At one point, however, she (who claimed to be a Suits fan) recognized the face of Abigail Spencer, Meghan&#39;s casting partner.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;When I saw Meghan approaching, I thought it was a familiar one, but I didn&#39;t think it could really be her.&rdquo; Soon after, however, when she really realized it was Abigail in the group, she realized who it was offering help with the photo.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;I froze. I couldn&#39;t believe who it was. It was then that I looked around and saw Prince Harry. So I kept looking at her and him, asking me, &quot;Is this really happening?&quot;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">He continued: &#39;At that moment the only thing I thought about was&#39; Selfie sticks &#39;can do so much.&#39; She [Meghan] laughed and said something like &#39;Then we have to do better&#39; and then Harry said &#39;No pressure&#39;. &rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Kantorowicz said that a &quot;very friendly&quot; Meghan then took some pictures and then returned the phone smiling and greeting them with a &quot;Happy New Year&quot;.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;Then we thanked and responded with a &#39;happy new year&#39; too and I turned to my boyfriend saying &#39;Did this really just happen? I still don&#39;t believe it, it seems like a dream. &#39; They joined the group again and walked away. &rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Finally, she added: &ldquo;She looked realistically happy - enjoying her new year with her husband and friends. She and Harry looked very happy - like a newly married couple. I wish baby Archie was there! I hope you are enjoying your stay on Vancouver Island a lot. &rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Still according to Glamor magazine this was the second photo taken by the Duchess, in addition to that of Harry and Archie having fun together that the couple posted on their Instagram @sussexroyal.</p>
