Why Emily Ratajkowski post-baby Instagram photo is raisesing concerns

On Saturday, insta-famous mode<a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/pop-culture/emily-ratajkowski-naked-pregnancy-speaks-about-relationship-with-her-body">l </a><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CMnC_FgLAZe/?igshid=1smz525ngsx3h">Emily Ratajkowsk</a>i posted semi-naked photo on Instagram to promote a loungewear outfit from her label,&nbsp;Inamorata. What everyone noticed, was her extremely flat and toned belly, regardless having&nbsp;her son just a few days before, on March 8th. It&#39;s not the first time that<a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/pop-culture/emily-ratajkowski-naked-pregnancy-speaks-about-relationship-with-her-body"> Ratajkowski</a> is the centre of a social media storm, because it&#39;s certainly not the first time the model shows herself semi or completely naked on her socials, since not wearing clothes has never been a taboo her. She did not want to give up showing herself even during pregnancy, letting everyone see her changing figure.&nbsp;

The model is often&nbsp;accused to promote&nbsp;an ideal of unreal beauty, decidedly opposite to reality and really far from that idea of body positivity, of which she acts as spokeperson. Moreover, many criticize her for perpetuating an unrealistic body image expectations.&nbsp;

Academic Professor Marika Tiggemann explained why this Instagram post caused negative reactions and more 700 bad comments through her followers.&nbsp;

&ldquo;The fact of the matter is that most people don&rsquo;t look like that after they&rsquo;ve given birth, because most people don&rsquo;t look like that before they&rsquo;ve given birth, either,&rdquo; Professor Tiggemann said.&ldquo;And we find the research says that looking at unrealistically thin, idealised images basically just makes women feel bad about their own bodies.&rdquo;

So, sharing a photo of yourself, in which your body look good, can make other people feel bad with themselves and in some cases evenhave a negative impact on the mental health of someone.&nbsp;

But the questions remains open: is it right or wrong that a public figure, with a large number of&nbsp;followers, shares contents in which her/his body looks thin, with muscles or abs, maybe touching the body sensibility of the people?
