Saint-Tropez is set to get a new luxury hotel within three years. It will be created by Oetker Collection and decorated by the famous French design duo Gilles &amp; Boissier. We&#39;ll tell you more...

Specialist in luxury and discreet elegance, the Oetker Collection hotel group continues its development. After opening La Palma last year , one of the jewels of <a href="https://www.lofficiel.com/fashion-week/jacquemus-mode-capri-la-casa-collection-homme-femme-look-photo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Capri</a> , and while it will inaugurate in the coming months its first address in the US, The Vineta in Palm Beach, the owner of the Bristol and Cap Eden-Roc announces its intention to settle in <a href="https://www.lofficiel.com/food/cedric-grolet-s-installe-a-saint-tropez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Saint-Tropez</a> . The project which is carried out with the two owners, the Pariente family (L&#39;Apogée in Courchevel, Le Grand Mazarin in Paris, le Coucou in Méribel) and the host Arthu r (through his company AW Resort), should see the light of day for the 2027 season.

Between Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle

The hotel, whose name has not yet been revealed , will stand on the site of the former Mas Bellevue. An exceptional site, immersed in vegetation, halfway between the Place des Lices and Pampelonne beach . A chic Provencal atmosphere and charm and glamour guaranteed by this hotel group that specializes in high-end hospitality , respectful of the superb sites selected.

With 53 rooms and suites, all with private terraces or patios, the hotel , nestled in fragrant gardens , will have a large infinity pool, a vast Spa, a bar and a gourmet restaurant with a view of the sea. The architecture of this sanctuary of tranquility will be provided by the Franco-Brazilian architectural firm Tryptique . Olivier Raffaëlli, founder of Tryptique, believes that the hotel will offer a fully immersive sensory experience in the softness of the light and the scent of the pine trees... He describes his project as follows: &quot;The hill that surrounds the hotel is not only a backdrop but an integral part of the experience. It offers precious privacy and a panoramic view of the sea, like a well-kept secret. The natural elements – stone, wood, Mediterranean vegetation – were chosen to reinforce this feeling of belonging to the territory. The landscape itself becomes an extension of the architecture, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces.&quot;

Typical Saint-Tropez atmosphere

The interior design by Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier should be inspired by a typically Saint-Tropez spirit through an architectural language that subtly plays with materials and textures. Textured plaster walls decorated with delicate patterns and white stone flooring in the lobby, Roman-inspired arches and wooden beams reminiscent of Provençal farmhouses. A harmonious balance of elegance and rusticity. Dorothée describes the decoration of the future rooms: &quot;raw, brushed and molded wood panels will embrace the room like a jacket carefully placed on bare shoulders, bringing warmth and comfort. The straw headboard will complement the soothing colors of the room, while the rope, a recurring design element, will gracefully adorn many details. The colors of Saint-Tropez; delicate pastels, warm ochres and subtle pinks will blend harmoniously with the sunny red tile roofs.&quot; We will therefore have to wait a little longer to discover this cocoon of refinement drowned under pines and olive trees , a stone&#39;s throw from Pampelonne beach...
